About Echoes:
The Band was formed in 2003. Back then Hamza and Tapu were on guitars, Arsalan on drums and Adib on lead vocals and bass. The Band started off doing gigs at popular venues like RCC, All community club, Gulshan youth club etc. The band’s single track “Moho” was released in the band mixed album “Aguntuk-3” in 2005. Towards the end of that particular year, Arsalan and Adib left the country to attend university abroad and the band eventually broke up.
Later in 2012, Hamza, Tapu along with Raajue (Bass) got together and started to jam. In the meantime, Arsalan came back from Canada for a few years and that’s when we all decided to reform Echoes after seven long years. Rubayet joined the band as the lead vocalist right after. We started doing gigs like old times that’s when Rajue left for his personal reasons. Soon afterwards we found Saadi as the bass guitarist of the band. Finally we had decided to work on our album ‘Shohoj Golpo’. It took us a couple of years to compose and record all these tracks and we have been performing at gigs all over Dhaka city at the same time promoting our music. During the making of Shohoj Golpo, Tofael left for USA and that’s when Tugril joined the band as the second guitarist.
