This little corner of volcanic paradise formed by capricious magma flows is one of the most beautiful spots on the coast of San Juan de la Rambla. With its calm clear waters, Charco de La Laja is the perfect place to connect with nature in an unrivalled setting.
To get there, follow the trail that runs along the coast. The waves are usually gentle but be careful as they can get quite strong.
You might want to make the most of your visit by taking a walk along the sea front and discovering the lovely village of San Juan de la Rambla, where you can taste the delicious Canarian gastronomy at one of its restaurants or taverns.

Depending on where you are coming from, you could also go and Icod de los Vinos (to see the Drago Milenario tree) or maybe visit Puerto de la Cruz and La Orotava.
