🎯 Today’s Destination is Skagway. 🛳️ This marks Day 5 of our 17-day Ultimate Alaska Cruise, and Skagway is our third port of call. Grand princess docked at Rail Road Aft Dock. As a result of a landslide back in 2023 the Rail Road Dock is closed for pedestrian. However, a complementary shuttle service is available from the ship to the end of the pier and is mandatory for all guests, either with independent arrangements or with Princess organized shore excursion. ouR Arrival was a little before 7:00 AM, and all aboard time was at 8:15 PM. Guests could disembark shortly after 7 AM once the gangways were open—just listen for the announcement.

We’re thrilled to be back in Alaska, this time aboard the Grand Princess. In fact, just a few weeks after this voyage, we embarked on a 7-day Inside Passage cruise aboard the Royal Princess, continuing our love affair with this breathtaking region.
