Cherish é uma música da banda americana de R&B Kool & the Gang, lançada em 1985. Foi o terceiro single lançado do décimo sexto álbum de estúdio da banda, Emergency. Foi certificado Ouro pela RIAA e ocupou o primeiro lugar no Adult Contemporary da Billboard por seis semanas consecutivas. No final das contas, seria classificado como o maior hit das paradas adultas contemporâneas dos anos 1980.

A canção é uma balada romântica que provou ser extremamente popular quando foi lançada e desde então tem sido uma espécie de canção de casamento.

Kool & the Gang é um grupo americano de jazz, R&B, soul, funk e disco, originalmente formado em 1964 como os Jazziacs, baseados em Jersey City, Nova Jérsei. O grupo teve diversas fases musicais durante sua carreira, começando com um som jazz mais purista, então funk e R&B, progredindo para um pop-funk mais suave, e após 2000 criando uma música com um som mais moderno e electro-pop. Venderam mais de 70 milhões de álbuns em todo o mundo.

Angelo Torres is a Rio saxophonist and one of the great names of the Saxophone in Latin America, and his main characteristic is the fusion of Pop with Smooth Jazz. He is a speaker, gives workshops and instrumental shows throughout Brazil and the United States. He participated in national and international tours and also recordings with great names of Gospel music.

In his solo career he has 10 CDs and 1 DVD with many guests, in addition to the special participation of American saxophonist KIRK WHALUM. Currently, in addition to his shows, tours and workshops, he divides his time in the production of his Instrumental Music Program on youtube - AT JAZZ Music.

Angelo Torres é um saxofonista carioca e um dos grandes nomes do Saxofone na América Latina, e tem como característica principal a fusão do Pop com o Smooth Jazz. É palestrante, ministra workshops e Shows Instrumentais por todo Brasil e Estados Unidos. Participou de turnês Nacionais e internacionais e também gravações com grandes nomes da música Gospel, como Aline Barros, Fernandinho, Kleber Lucas, Davi Sacer, Trazendo a Arca, Álvaro Tito, Oficina G3, Sérgio Lopes, e muitos outros.

Tem em sua carreira solo 10 CDs e 1 DVD com muitos convidados, além da participação especial do Saxofonista americano KIRK WHALUM. Atualmente além de seus shows, turnês e workshops, divide seu tempo na produção de seu Programa de Música Instrumental no youtube – AT JAZZ Music.
