Lilo & Stitch Nail Art Design on Natural Nails

Hiya, I'm Vicky and today we are going to be creating a Lilo & Stitch inspired set of nails! OMG! Ohana means family! These nails are out of this world!

So, first of all, I've already prepped these four nails but I'm going to show you how I've prepped them using the thumb. So we are going to take a file and just buff over the nail with a 240 grit file and then wipe over it with some gel residue wipe off solution. I'm gonna let that dry and then apply some nail prep dehydrator and then base coat to each of the nails and then I'm gonna cure those. However, I will be doing the thumb design last so I haven't applied the base coat to this already.

Now I'm gonna create my design using Tropical Beach and paint the pinky finger and middle finger, I'll use Lilac Breeze on the ring finger and pointer finger. They need curing for 30 seconds before applying a second coat.

So for the first design I am going to do a Flower using Bath Bomb and Jaffa Cake gel polishes.

For Stitch I am going to use The Doctor, Summer Sky, Abyss, Quick Kiss and Serious Black. Using gel polish to paint with is hard so I'll pop some on a pallete and use some fine detail brushes.

I want one of the nails to be pure chrome, so i will use the Topaz to give the nail a high shine and then i'll top coat the nail.

I'm going to use Jaffa Cake to write OHANA on the pointer, it means Family in Hawaiian.

For the thumb I want to do the image from the surfboard that Lilo rides. I will use Barley Fields, the Doctor and Heart Breaker to do this look.
