Miyake is one of the most popular pieces in Japanese drumming and audiences all over the world love to feel the energy, the power and concentration of single hits - although the main pattern is overwhelming in itself, no one would or rather even could compete with the people coming from its source: Miyake-jima. With respect to those traditional rhythms, we would like to emphasize this fact.
