Hurricanes was released in 1994 as a SNES exclusive. It was developed by Probe Software (a subsidiary of Acclaim), and as we know from previous Let's Try games, Acclaim generally made not-so-great games. Hurricanes was published by US Gold, who produced tons of average games for 16 and 32-bit systems.
This is one of those games that if you saw it in the wild, you would never realize is incredibly uncommon and very expensive, but it is just that. That's probably the most noteworthy part of the game -- it's a platformer where you can use a soccer ball to attack enemies, and that part controls pretty well. You have a very solid health bar, and there is decent variance to enemies.
Overall, if this was a game you saw in a random store for $10-20, I'd say give it a try, but since it's so expensive, this is probably one you're going to want to play 'any way you can', unless you're a hardcore collector. Thanks for watching!
