A short cinematic silent hiking travel vlog that documents the 4-day solo trek following the Santa Cruz trail outside Huaraz, the hiking capital of Peru.

The video begins with a series of dramatic drone shots from this solo hike. The film then documents the journey starting from Vaqueria, initially descending briefly before continuing the two-day ascent to the highest point at 3750m on the Punta Union mountain pass before descending to the beautiful valley and ending the trail at the town of Cashapampa.
While many choose to complete the trek in the opposite direction, the trail starting from Vaquería allows you to acclimatize slowly while also rewarding you with the spectacular views of the giant snow-capped mountains of Huascaran National Park.
