Pachelbel's Organ works are considerable in number, somewhat overlooked and under-rated, deserving far more recognition and performance than they generally receive. . In addition to the 95 Magnificat Fugues , 72 Chorale Preludes, 7 Chorale Partitas, The Hexachordum Apollinis , a secualar work, registered by the composer for a small chamber/positive organ (comprising 6 sets of variations on original themes , an Arietta with 9 variations and 2 Ciacona with 24 and 12 variations respectively) he also wrote circa 50 individual pieces comprising Preludes, Fugues, Toccatas, Ricecare and Fantasias.
Played on Hauptwerk sample set of St. Mary le Bow with a thumbnail of the interior of the Church showing the organ case.
The spire/tower of the church, a Wrenn building, is second only in height to St. Paul's Cathedral
