This film was produced as part of a Training of Trainers program run by Glocal Films in collaboration with GIZ Philippines.
This film documents the process of YVCA, which allows the vulnerable youth to share their views on their very individual socio-economic, political and environmental context. Special emphasis is placed on their observations and experiences of conflict induced hazards that pose risks to their personal welfare and development. The tool was piloted in 4 LGUs in Mindanao. For many of the participating youth this was their first experience of being in charge of examining their own contexts, hazards, vulnerabilities and capacities.
The application of the YVCA was supported by the project “Youth for a Culture of Peace and Non-violence in Mindanao” (YOUCAP) implemented by GIZ in partnership with Local Government Units.
