Unit Feature – Motorcycles
There are 9 Officers and 1 Supervisor that make up the Motorcycle Unit. Even though it’s a small part of the Police Department, It's one of the more well-known units.
These two-wheeled Officers are most often visible throughout Tulsa leading parades, taking part in public education, and working speed enforcement.
Here's an overview of the training, dedication, and work that goes into being an Officer with the Tulsa Police Motorcycle Unit.
We want to give a shout out to the longest-running member, Officer Larry Woods, who has worked in the Motorcycle Unit for 23 years!
