Hey there here is some techniques that i use to build houses.for some who are noobs at sims 2 may find this confusing just try to follow exactly what i do.
Some techniques works with sims 3 too exept the sky lights as there isnt any transparent floor tiles for sims 3 yet.Chek my videos to see the final product,.. .

Its by ailias( you can use other things that are flat
to the floor)
