On our harsh hilltop land, we’re planting bougainvillea to build a natural living fence that protects the trees we hope will grow here someday.
The soil is tough, the wind is strong, and water is scarce — yet these plants survive, adapt, and slowly take root.

This episode is about resilience, small beginnings, and the long journey of turning this land green again. We bring bougainvillea from the nursery, explore our hilltop plot in Kamagiri Village, plant a living bio-fence, check on older saplings, meet a very curious buffalo, and enjoy quiet, warm moments as a family.

This is our slow journey toward building a peaceful homestead beside the Aiyur Reserve Forest.
