We have been invited to run some papermaking workshops in Rotorua, in the North Island of New Zealand. We load up our old 38 year old truck and hit the road.... I hope we make it!
This is the journey up the Kaikoura coast, famous for its whales, seals and birdlife, hop on the ferry and cross Cook Straight.
We travel past past two active Volcanos, and drive around Lake Taupo, the largest freshwater lake in our country. We visit the thermal wonderland of Oraki Korako and arrive in the wonderful city of Rotorua our destination.
We unload the truck ready for a week of workshops, I hope it doesn't rain!
