Here's what you'll need for sewing a Maxi Skirt w/ Large Hip Pockets and elastic waistband.
Measurements needed:
-waist
-hips
-length of skirt (add 2" if you love heels like I do)
Materials:
-Muslin
-pen/marker
-12" curved ruler
-sharp scissors
-regular ruler
-stick pins
-fabric chalk (optional)
-the biggest safety pin you can find
For Skirt:
-3 yards of fabric (I used cotton, 44" or bigger)
-2" elastic
-.5" bias tape (optional)
