How Volume of Distribution Can Be More Than Total Fluid Volume In The Body?
Some drugs accumulate in deeper tissues, because of which their plasma concentration falls drastically. So when you calculate the apparent volume of distribution using that low concentration in plasma, you get a higher number for volume. This number can be higher than the total fluid volume in the body. This is because it is a calculated volume. Or in other words, it's an estimate. Not a real volume. Thus, the video also explains why its called an "apparent" volume.
