So the substitute for this was to find a cookbook for an Academy Award winning actor. And lo and behold, here again is Gwyneth Paltrow. This time, I mellowed out from her last cookbook review, It's All Easy (which is kind of a misnomer).
This fair and just insight into her first ever cookbook takes a look at how she inherited her love of food and cooking from her late director father, Bruce.
Plus her Goop lifestyle influence and pure healthy dining habits are on display in several recipes, many of which put wholesome veggies, natural sweetening agents and a few lean proteins at the forefront.
But at the heart of it all is good taste. And a father-daugher bond that will be savored for years to come. That's the true recipe for success.
