We had it all planned. The setting: the lush campus of Tec de Monterrey, Guadalajara. With the support of over 100 students from the university’s audio and media programs, this Global Sound Concert became a true community effort.
The final, essential element was Libni Casher and her incredible band, Flores de Mayo. Under a canopy of trees — a path usually walked by students on their way to class — the space was completely transformed by the power of their music.
What was once a quiet grove turned into a vibrant stage, alive with rhythm, melody, and collaboration. This recording is a celebration of music’s ability to turn the everyday into the extraordinary.
