Last year I did our first GaMetal Christmas Special: Frosty Village / Walrus Cover from Diddy Kong Racing. I had a lot of fun doing it, in fact it's one of my favorites from 2020.

Initially, I didn't think I'd have time to do another one this year, but when the end of the year started getting closer, I decided to swap a few songs up on my to-do list and do an easier song than what I had planned instead.

Enter Cool, Cool Mountain! This is the first 'wintery' song that comes to mind for me personally whenever I think of the Mario soundtracks, but I usually see it getting passed up in favor of other Mario songs like Frappe Snowland or Snowball Park.

Not this time!

Also I should go ahead and note: the official title of this song is actually "Snow Mountain", but that just doesn't sound as cool.
