AMA STELLA

Inspired by luxury yachts and designed specifically to maximize the enjoyment of every guest, the 156-passenger AmaStella introduced in 2016, provides a distinctive river cruise experience. Spacious, elegantly appointed staterooms range in size from 155-235 sq. ft. or indulge even more in one of the suites at 350 sq. ft. Select staterooms can become adjoining by request, and some offer triple occupancy to accommodate the needs of families. Most staterooms have twin balconies, both a French and outside balcony, so you can enjoy the ever-changing scenery however you wish.

Our river cruise line has always been inspired by a vision of innovation. Among other things, we were the first to offer twin-balcony staterooms, include a specialty restaurant, carry a fleet of bicycles on board and offer a broad selection of tours. We were also the first river cruise line to offer professionally trained Wellness Hosts leading a range of complimentary wellness activities on board. In addition, our ships are uniquely designed to minimize the impact of water levels on the river, featuring low drafts for when there isn’t enough water, and specially engineered wheelhouses for when there is too much water.

Savor exquisite cuisine at a variety of dining venues, like the Main Restaurant and The Chef’s Table. You can also order delicious tapas between meals in the Main Lounge.

Our ships in Europe are members of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs – a prestigious international culinary society – and with good reason. Our expert chefs craft menus that feature exquisite, locally-sourced cuisine as well as traditional Western offerings. We are the only river cruise line that has The Chef’s Table, an intimate specialty restaurant included in the price of the cruise where you can watch the chef prepare a lavish multi-course tasting menu right in front of you. Each dinner at The Chef’s Table is served with complimentary hand-selected local reds and whites from Europe’s renowned wine regions. There’s also sparkling wine and fresh juice with breakfast, menu service during lunch, as well as delicious tapas and snacks in the Main Lounge between meals.

With fewer passengers on board, guests can enjoy the luxury of space — our public areas, like lounges and restaurants, are never overcrowded.

Sun Deck Pool
Soak up some rays or take a dip in our refreshing pool with a swim-up bar as we pass by centuries-old castles, charming villages and other breathtaking scenery.

Whether it’s traditional Bavarian music, a local quartet or modern piano favorites, there is an eclectic schedule of entertainment on board.

Part of the draw of traveling to new destinations is immersing yourself in authentic local culture. We are happy to bring evening entertainment on board that includes musicians, folkloric dancers and storytellers who live and work in the cities we sail to and are happy to share their cultural traditions and talents with you. Whether it’s traditional Bavarian music, a local quartet or contemporary piano favorites played by our resident musician, you will enjoy an eclectic schedule of onboard entertainment every night.

After a marvelous day of immersive shore excursions, return to the ship and treat yourself to a bit of pampering with a soothing massage.

With fewer guests on board, we have space for luxurious amenities. Relax with a soothing massage after a day of exploring, stay in shape with a small group wellness activity led by a professionally trained Wellness Host, work out in the fitness room or watch breathtaking castles glide by while enjoying a cocktail up on the Sun Deck. You can also take a dip in our sun-deck pool with a swim-up bar.
