In this hike my friend Steve and I start at Wolf Gap Recreation Area and follow the mill mountain trail past Big Slosch (excellent view) to the trailhead for the half moon trail along trout run road. This is in the area of Wardensville West Virginia and on the Lee district of the George Washington/Jefferson National Forest. This point to point hike is around 12 miles.
