I've been waiting for years to catch a classic Douglas DC-8, and finally on Wednesday the 23rd of March 2022 I caught an ex @finnair DC-8 now flying on behalf of @SamaritansPurseVideoon an aid flight destined for #Ukraine.
The aircraft has been flying regularly between the USA and Poland, delivering aid to the airport there before it is then distributed to those who need it.
Amazing to see a 59-year-old bird still active in the sky.
