I received this shortwave ident (in Japanese) from NHK Radio Japan 10 years ago on my Grundig shortwave receiver on the 11Mhz band. Interference back then was a lot less than it is today.
Note that the Japanese word for ''world'' is 'sekai' (世界), but in this broadcast, a Japanese pronounciation of the English word is used, so 'NHK World' sounds like ''NHK wari-doh'' !........Hence:- ''Kochira wa NHK 'waridoh' = This is NHK world.
I no longer have the Grundig, but the Realistic DX-150 that I'm now using is a fine performer on the shortwave band, considering the large increase in local electrical interference (QRM) over the past 10 years, particularly from nearby solar panels and associated ''inverters'' !!
Radio Japan shortwave broadcasts are best received in Australia on the 25 meter band at night.
