الصف العاشر - الدرس الاول - شرح قطعة Aaron Wheelz ومراجعة الازمنة الماضية:
1. الماضي البسيط - Simple past
2. الماضي المستمر - Past Continuous
3. الماصي التام - Past Perfect


Past Simple بلش وخلص - الماضي البسيط في وقت محدد
Used for finished actions in the past at the specific time.
🕒 I watched a movie yesterday. / I ate an apple 2 hours ago
→ نستخدم الماضي البسيط للأحداث التي انتهت في الماضي.
to describe finished actions: I broke my leg yesterday evening.
to tell the main events in a story in order: I ran to the school gym, opened the door, and saw him!

Time words: yesterday, last (, night, year, month, week), in 2023, Ago (month, year)
2. Past Continuous كان عم بصير - الماضي المستمر WAS / WERE + Ving
Used for actions that were in progress at a specific time.
🕒 I was watching TV when you called. كنت عم احضر
→ حدث كان مستمرًا في لحظة معينة بالماضي.
for longer activities interrupted by shorter ones in the past:
I was jogging when I saw an accident.
for temporary situations in the past:
We were meeting at the gym twice a week.
To describe things which were in progress at or around a fixed time in the past:
At 9 a.m. I was relaxing in the steam room.
To set the scene in a story or give background information:
I was cycling to school one morning when … i saw an old man ….


3. Past Perfect الماضي التام ارتب احداث already, yet, just, recently, Since, for
SUBJECT + HAD + V3
Used for an action that happened before another past action.
🕒 I had finished dinner before you arrived. ماض بسيط
→ حدثان في الماضي، الأول هو الذي نُنجزه أولًا (نستخدمه بـ had + past participle).
to talk about an action in the past that was completed before another action or a time in the past:
When I arrived at the skate park, my friends had already left.
To talk about what happened before another event in the past:
The road was dangerous because it had snowed during the night. (It snowed. Then, as a result the road became dangerous.)


✅ Easy trick: If two actions happened in the past → the earlier one = Past Perfect
