In this painting we key in on a few ideas to guide us through the process of an outdoor streetscape scene. First we show the "star pattern" for getting perspective accurate, second we key in on the bright sunlight in the scene and light source concepts, and third we paint in the darker subject matter first and then add in lighter tonal values when finalizing the painting.
