Single Turbo ATS-V First Day Out

Every platform needs a flagship drag car. We've already tackled the Grand Prix, the Cobalt, and the Sonic, so this year, we're focusing on the ATS-V. Equipped with a fleet of 4 cars, ZZP will be rolling out in everything from a basic bolt-on daily driver to a dedicated drag strip build.

The first shakedown of Reed's single-turbo ATS-V put down a 9.9 at 145 MPH on only 3 PSI off the line. The 90-degree day showed the limitations of the cooling system, but we're not mad at the first passes off the trailer.

With some solid data and a lot of room left in the turbo, we'll make some adjustments and hit the track again soon. Stay tuned, this is only the beginning.
