Driver of the #55 Ford Mustang, Igor Kos talks to us about his strong P5 result in Silverstone.
Silverstone isn't a track that suits his driving style yet qualifying went decently well with a time good enough for P9. He then gained several positions as a result of staying out of trouble into T1.
Running in P5 his race was mostly about managing the gap behind. His pace was strong enough to not loose sight of the cars ahead, but not enough to mount an attack. He therefore concentrated on consolidating P5 by managing the gap behind.
A satisfying result, Igor open up is championship account with 20 points in the bank as he sets his eyes on the next race at the Fuji International Speedway.
