So we fancied a day out as a family while be got a few days off work, so we adventured to East Kirkby and the Lincs Aviation centre as they were running up the Lancaster and Mosquito. What a sounds they both were! The museum is great, the naffi is lovely, which they’re expanding which can only be a good sign. Their long term projects of getting the Lancaster Bomber ‘Just Jane’ and the mosquito flying is well under way. Over the last couple of year they also took on a B-25 Mitchell. It’s well worth a visit!
