With an abundance of gear available, it's so hard to figure out what you need, and what you want. I wanted to look at a few different guitar types back to back for a baseline comparison. These have all been run through my '68 Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue at a few different settings (clean, edge of breakup, and all out).
Signal chain - guitar, cable, amp, SM57. No additional processing was done whatsoever.
Hopefully, this video gives you an idea of a starting point for some of these guitars, and of course you can always add pedals.
