"Would You Fall In Love With Me Again?" from "EPIC: The Musical"--Alexandra Langley

Happy Monday! I'm excited to share today's new flute cover, as I fell in love with this new musical over the past couple of weeks. This is my flute cover of "Would You Fall In Love With Me Again?" from "EPIC: the Musical". "EPIC" is a brand new two-act musical adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey in the form of a concept album. It follows the 20-year timeline of Odysseus fighting against war, man, elements, and gods to make it home to his wife, Penelope, and son, Telemachus. This brilliant masterpiece was written by the wonderful Jorge Rivera-Herrans. Over these past two years, Jorge has released this musical in 9 separate sagas/chapters, and on Christmas Day 2024, he released the 9th/final saga named "The Ithaca Saga". I am performing the final song of this saga on this cover. "Would You Fall In Love With Me Again?" is a heartfelt, beautiful finale piece showing the moment Odysseus reunites with his beloved wife, Penelope. As he had been gone for 20 years, he wondered if she would still love him after everything he did to make it home to her. Penelope, while full of emotion from his absence and shock as to why he would ask that question, confirms she would fall in love with him endlessly as she waited so long for him because her love for him is deep. This is such a beautiful flowing melody filled with depth and heart creating a long-awaited satisfying conclusion that all EPIC fans had waited for, enough to make me cry when I first heard it. As a congratulations to Jorge and the incredible cast of EPIC, I present this cover to them all. I hope you enjoy this cover!
