Apologies for the focus on this clip. Operator error. This piece, entitled "The Mandalorian" and written for the series of the same name, is the fifth of seven that made up the "Standing On the Shoulders of Giants" presentation on 10 April 2024 by the Christopher Newport University Percussion Ensemble. Ensemble director Scott Amman says the composer, Ludwig Göransson, deliberately incorporated a "Spaghetti Western" feel to the piece.
