Join me for this highly unique climb! Oregon basalt can behave weird, especially its columnar basalt. Sometimes it has splitter cracks, sometimes routes instead follow or hop between jagged, broken systems. In this case, the outer layer has separated away from the wall, with a hole open at the base. This unique access to the cavity behind the rock has led to a route unlike any other. If you ever have the privilege to try out this climb for yourself, strap on a headlamp, grab some gear, and enjoy a squeeze-chimney unlike any you have ever climbed before!
