Todays installment is a revisit for me at this USPS facility in Newport Beach, CA. as I exercised my freedom to record with my cameras in publicly accessible spaces of the property. I had a mix of encounters from various customers, ranging from mild curiosity, friendly chat, and a concerned woman wanting to know why I was recording. The main encounter that stood out for me was from the concerned woman. She initially walked in & a few minutes later, she walked out without any contact. It wasn't until she got to her car that she turned around & came back to the entrance that I was recording from. She wanted to know why I was recording , taking people's pictures, and expressing her concern. I felt that she came off a bit harsh, so I urged her to start over with a hello, then I would consider telling her what I was doing. I also told her the world isn't all evil & suggested she pull her panties of the apparent bunch that got her worked up. I let her know I was working on a video project, investigating the post office , but withheld saying any more to her in case she might go snitch inside to the workers. I also informed her about poster 7 inside that gives us the right to record on postal property & offered to show her where it was to help squash any further concerns she might have had. She said that wasn't necessary & we parted ways on good terms.
I invite you to chime in below with your comments on this one & I thank you for taking time out of your day to watch!
