This is the final part in the process of making a new dirndl for my 9 year old granddaughter. The fabric used in this apron was the inspiration for the dirndl, since the colorful stripes caught my eye. There are so many ways to make an apron unique - this is just one of many. For my next project I will be making a ladies dirndl with boning in the front bodice, which really adds structure and form to the dress. Thanks for watching.
