SHIFT AM: THE IRISH DRIFT FESTIVAL SPECIAL

Something special happened in Tipperary on the 28th of July 2024. For the first time in over 15 years drifting was welcomed back. And for no reason other than the first ever Irish Drift Festival. 16 of Irelands top drivers came together in a Drift of Champions to see who would come out on top.

The crowds were gifted with showcases from some of the most iconic machines in the drifting world. The Blitz Skyline, the Bride Carolla, The Group D Quattro, James Deanes 4 Rotor RX7 and so much more.

The walls of Rosegreen were left marked by both the people who haven't driven through those gates since the last event and people who weren't born when the last event took place.

This event run by the same team that brought you the Irish Drift Championship was a showcase and a testement to 20 years of Irish Drifting, and a beacon that will stand for 20 more.

For us here at Shift AM the Irish Drift Festival was the first time we are putting our presenters Sam and Alan on the screen, you've seen us at events, you may have had a chat with us wondering what we're up to. Well we're finally here.
