اليمن - تفاقم معاناة النازحين في مخيم الرباط جراء قلة المساعدات


بين المخيمات ومساكن الإيجار يقضي آلاف النازحين في مخيم الرباط بمحافظة لحج جنوبي اليمن في ظل انعدام للغذاء في مراكز الإيواء.
و تصف المفوضية العامة للاجئين التابعة للأمم المتحدة الازمة في اليمن بأسوأ أزمة إنسانية في العالم ، إذ تقدر المنظمة الدولية بأن 66% من سكان البلاد مايعادل 21 مليون يمني محتاجون للمساعدات الإنسانية بما في ذلك4 ملايين نازح داخليا.
وأكد نازحون لوكالة A24 تردي الأوضاع المعيشية داخل مخيم الرباط ، مطالبين بدعم حقيقي من المنظمات الدولية والإنسانية .
وأفادت المنظمة الدولية في بيان لها إن واحدا من كل ثمانية يمنيين في عداد المهجرين، فيما اضطر نحو172 ألف شخص للنزوح حديثا وأغلبهم ضمن محافظة مأرب التي تستضيف إلى جانب حجة والحديدة وتعز 55% من السكان النازحين داخليا.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees describes the crisis in Yemen as the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, estimating that 66% of the country's population, equivalent to 21 million Yemenis, are in need of humanitarian aid, including 4 million internally displaced persons.

Displaced persons told A24 that living conditions are deteriorating in Rabat camp, demanding real support from international and humanitarian organizations.

UN organization reported in a statement that one out of every eight Yemenis is displaced, and that about 172,000 people have been displaced recently, most of them within Marib governorate, which hosts 55% of the total number of internally displaced persons, along with Hajjah, Hudaydah and Taiz governorates.
