I am not advising that you should do this but something for you to discuss with your garage / maintainer. I am just showing how I (a tight Yorkshireman / keen diy’er) ran a descaling solution around my L320 Rover heater matrix to fix a poor cabin heat issue. I may yet find I have leaks later on as dissolving scale may expose issues in the heating circuit. If you decide to try this it is at your own risk! But it has worked for ne 😊👍🏻
