Worried about your dress being a bit tight? This video is PART 1 of "Bridal gowns and weight change", and I've tried to answer the most common queries I receive from real brides. Having done wedding dress alterations for over 20 years, I've noticed many of them have concerns about weight fluctuation in the run up to their wedding, so in this video, we talk about what happens when you try on your wedding dress at the point where your wedding day is approaching and you discover it doesn't fit.
In PART 2 which will be released soon, we'll look at some example wedding dresses, construction and seam allowances, and I'll explain how dresses can be resized.
Most of us find our weight tends to fluctuate. It's not always that we've put on weight or lost weight. Very often it's just to do with the natural ebbs and flows of the body in terms of fluid retention and bloating. That's what we're going to talk about today.
Whatever the reason your dress isn't fitting correctly, there will be a solution.
