I Craved This for 9 Months – Salt & Pepper Ribs & Chicken Wings (One Pot Recipe!)
This dish got me through pregnancy and now it’s a family favourite! Salt and pepper chicken wings and ribs in one pot—no deep frying, just oven-roasted and stir-fried to perfection. It’s easy, flavour-packed, and better than the takeaway!
FULL RECIPE BELOW:
Marinade:
• Salt (to taste)
• Garlic granules
• Chinese 5 spice
• Soy sauce (light or dark)
• Black pepper
• 1 Maggi cube (crumbled)
Instructions:
1. Marinate chicken wings and ribs in the above ingredients.
2. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for 30–35 minutes until cooked and lightly crisped.
Stir-Fry Mix:
• 1 white onion (sliced)
• 1 red onion (sliced)
• Spring onions (chopped)
• Red & green peppers (sliced)
• 1 fresh chilli (finely chopped)
• Handful of fresh coriander
• Salt & black pepper to taste
• Oil for frying
Final Steps:
1. Heat oil in a large pan.
2. Stir-fry all vegetables for 2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Add cooked meat and toss well until everything is coated.
4. Serve immediately—enjoy with rice, chips, or straight from the pan!
