Urgent care has become increasingly prevalent in recent years, but at what cost? Using her background as a pulmonologist, Nina Maouelainin explains how the urgent care system can hide complex conditions, leaving them undiagnosed and untreated for far too long.
Nina Maouelainin is a renowned leader in interventional pulmonology and the President and Founder of Lung Health Services, an innovative independent practice at the forefront of advanced respiratory care. She also serves as the Medical Director of Interventional Pulmonology at both Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Medical Center and Grandview Hospital, an affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Nina is also the founder of the Dr. Nina Lung Care Foundation, through which she provides education, coaching, and compassionate support for individuals living with complex lung conditions such as COPD, emphysema, bronchiectasis, and lung cancer.
