Irresistables Heat Set Medium (IRHSP) LiquiThin is a brand new formula that is a safe, odorless, non-toxic and non-solvent based used to thin heat set paint without loss of color depth. In addition, LiquiThin will bind the paint creating a smooth and creamy mixture that will not separate so you only have to stir it once. LiquiThin is not to be confused with IRHSP Thinning. LiquiThin is quite liquid and will come in a bottle to be poured. IRHSP Thinning comes in a jar and the consistency is much thicker however both products will thin your paint.

There are many benefits to LiquiThin but the biggest is the fact that it is much safer to use than solvents and by using LiquiThin in place of solvents, you will avoid creating an unhealthy environment when working on your project. The product itself has no odor and there will be no fumes while and after baking. This product is NOT an oil nor a solvent and the sole purpose of this medium is to replace solvents and oils all together. There are many people who are sensitive to the chemicals in solvent because they are strong. Solvents break down the paint where as LiquiThin will not. LiquiThin was made to cure with heat and with each layer you add, you are effectively sealing your paint with no need for final varnishes unless preferred.

This revolutionary product was created with all of these things in mind. LiquiThin makes paint flow but it may also make the color more transparent and creates lovely washes but can be used to make darker and more pigmented layers such as for hair painting or fantasy dolls.

We have created 8 mediums aimed specifically toward artists favorites. The mediums are available in 1 oz. and 4 oz. jars and LiquiThin is available in 2, 4 and 8 oz. bottles. Each one has its own purpose and work great with all IRHSP mediums and colors. Our mediums are made in an industrial grade material that has been tested for steadfastness, longevity and overall durability. IRHSP paints and mediums are odorless and non toxic and will not fade or dull the paint. IRHSP mediums and paints are 100% compatible with all heat set, oil based or air dry paint systems including Genesis.

DIRECTIONS: Add a small amount of LiquiThin to your paint or medium to make it more fluid. LiquiThin will thin your paint and will change the paint’s flow, consistency and texture. If you want the paint to be more of a wash, use less paint and more LiquiThin. If you want a more pigmented layer, use more paint with less LiquiThin. Heat your oven to 265F/130C and bake for 9-10 minutes. After heat setting the paint, let it cool before applying the next layer. Unlike most solvents and oils LiquiThin is 100% curable. Shake well in between uses.
