POV Throwback to last Sunday when @Subyub Lee 李拾壹 performed at @bushhallmusic in Shepherd Bush London.

I went early to join the queue as guest number 9... proudly armed with a 'baton'. Years ago, For no reason I bought a recorder in Malaysia & brought it to UK and it remained untouched to collect dust until Subyub's concert.
The event was 'its first kiss'.

What an experience joining the audience responding with Recorders. 💖Suddenly such feeling of kinship surfaced.

Since some concert venues (non theatre/auditorium) have no seats at all, I went ready with a collapsible stool in case I couldn't stand for any longer. But there I was, found myself at the front row seat (banquet chair) which no one seemed to dare take up even when the concert started. So, lucky me.

@cantonicuk welcomed us with the opening act.
And @mansonvibes made an appearance too.

It was funny to see Subyub flirting with Pearl who was videoing him offstage. Lol. They look cute together.

The last number was 草蜢 Grasshopper's 忘情桑巴舞 (Samba), wishing @djremus_choy a speedy recovery from brain surgery and back to grasshopping in no time.

Thanks to my housemate for pushing me to snap up a ticket 3 hours before the concert. Indeed, 'delay no more'.

For weeks, I was feeling 'SubNg SubLuk' ('15 16' aka unsure) 😅 whether I would feel pathetic for attending SubYub 李十一 (11)'s concert on my own (puns intended - get it? get it?!)

When I asked a hongkonger friend in Toronto, Canada for an opinion, she told me, "Go if u can…機會難逢 (opportunity hard to come by)".
I dedicate this video to her. X

Glad I took the courage to go despite feeling like an intruder or a fraud for being among perfect canto speakers from Hong Kong (and a handful of Taiwanese) - no regret!

For a moment, my problems were forgotten. I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Kudos to @pierzerouk for a successful event.
