We didn’t expect this — not even close.

In this Nashville vlog, what starts as a simple visit to Bass Pro Shops at Opry Mills quickly turns into one of the most surreal American experiences we’ve had so far. Life-size animals, massive boats, guns, Christmas chaos, meeting Santa Claus, and somehow walking out with a Davy Crockett hat that’s now become part of daily life.

Then Nashville does what Nashville does.

The next day spirals into a full Broadway adventure — bar hopping, live country music everywhere you turn, meeting musicians, wandering Music City landmarks, and realising just how different American social life feels compared to the UK.

The night ends at a Nashville Predators NHL game, in a private box with friends, surrounded by sports culture, noise, energy… and some very unexpected faces in the crowd.

We’re a Scottish and Swedish couple relocating from the UK to Nashville, Tennessee, and this video captures the exact moment it hit us why people fall in love with this place. From American mega-stores to Broadway chaos and live sports, this is what life in Nashville actually feels like — unfiltered, unpredictable, and nothing like we imagined.
