This week I'm making a new version of this part for the Stay Slayer. Some framebuilders would like to miter especially tall chainstays. With the new-spec fixture posts that will be possible!
I show the setup of the machine and discuss the milling and turning operations.
The lathe is a 2012 Doosan Puma 2100 SY and the bar feeder is a LNS Quick Load 80 Servo. For chucking I use Royal QG65 dead length collet chucks.
