This is from the CBS Radio series 'Great Moments in Music' featuring a very young Mario Lanza together with his friend and mentor Robert Weede. The soprano is Jean Tennyson whom I'm sure must have had coaching from Florence Foster Jenkins at some stage! Seriously, she is one of the worst sopranos I have ever heard. Despite that, this broadcast is well worth listening to because of Lanza and Weede.
