It seems every generation longs for "the good old days" and they were nostalgic even 100 years ago. This roll, played by Victor Arden contains a section where the words are not sung, but recited. I am sure that nobody has used this section in many years since how many people can relate to WW 1? Still, you might find it interesting to see and hear the song when it was new in 1923. Incidentally, this song is NOT "Wedding Bells Are Breaking Up That Old Gang of Mine" a song that often gets confused with this one. That song is from 1929 and is by Sammy Fain and Irving Kahal.
