Remastered from 2015! Back in the earlier days of me learning to edit video, I thought, like TV, background music was needed to tell a story - that "dead air" would bore folks. I never even realized much of the YouTube videos I enjoyed were music-free, and others only had it at key parts. So here we are, starting to "remaster" older videos by re-rendering them to remove music, and only add it back in key spots where it makes sense. Hope you enjoy! Our channel has more than old remasters too - we have plenty of new content posting regularly!

Description of Original:
We start out to do some cold starts, be realize we need more of a challenge - that challenge comes in a newly acquired parts car we got for an upcoming restoration - a 1967 Triumph Spitfire. This Spitfire was literally just pulled out of a yard where it has sat for years with no cover - not even a convertible top. While we intend to use this car for parts, the challenge is to see if we can get the engine running.
What follows is a good, methodical approach to reviving an engine of unknown condition, including details on how to setup a points-based ignition system.
