17 Cameos in the Shrek Movies

Ah Shrek… early 2000s icon, internet darling, and the most famous ogre in history. We all know Shrek pretty well, but how well do we know all the other folks who appeared in his movies? Shrek has many references in its multiple sequels, but what’s even more interesting is how many cameos there are from famous characters and real people, alike. The DreamWorks classic centers around fairytales, so it’s really no wonder that we see a lot of fairytale characters make appearances, like the Three Little Pigs, Pinocchio, and the Three Blind Mice. There are other cameos, however, that are far more surprising, like Disney characters who made appearances, and even multiple different versions of none other than Justin Timberlake. The creators of Shrek certainly knew how to create the space for a surprising cameo. Not to mention it then spawned not just Shrek 2, but also Shrek the Third, Shrek Forever After, Shrek the Halls, Scared Shrekless , and last but certainly not least, Puss in Boots. Yeah – there’s more than enough Shrek to go around, and as a result, there are way more than enough cameos to go around. Our round-up of cameos in the Shrek movies will probably leave you saying “oh I forgot about that!” and will most likely draw your attention to a few cameos you missed the first few times around.
