Northwestern Reno County in south central Kansas...

Until 12:15 AM CDT.

At 11:50 PM CDT, a confirmed large and destructive tornado was observed near Sylvia, or 6 miles east of Zenith, moving northeast at 35 mph

TORNADO EMERGENCY for PLEVNA. This is a particularly dangerous situation. Take cover now!

HAZARD... Deadly tornado.

SOURCE... Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT... You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, businesses, and vehicles is likely, and complete destruction is possible.
