1-11/16" width at nut
This 1943 Martin 00-17 has incredible tone, and it is setup with nice low action. All Mahogany with Brazilian Rosewood appointments.
The Rosewood peghead overlay features the "Martin & Co. EST. 1833" decal at the top. Original three-on-a-plate tuners with cream buttons. Appears to be a replacement Ebony nut. The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard features small ivoroid inlays and side dot position markers. Light frets wear on the B and E strings up to the 6th fret. The "V" profile Mahogany neck has a few areas of wear, but it has a very comfortable neck shape. These areas of wear are not distracting while playing.
The Mahogany top has a fair amount of dings and scratches, but it does not have any open cracks or any structural damage. Center seam looks to have been open and reglued. Excellent copy Brazilian Rosewood bridge features Ebony bridge pins with pearl dots, and a bone saddle. Tortoise plastic pickguard. The Mahogany back and sides are similar to the top when considering wear. Two crack repairs on the treble side of the Mahogany sides. Ebony end pin installed.
This 1943 Martin 00-17 has a fair amount of player wear, but it is structurally sound. Fantastic tone and playability. Comes with a newer hard case.
